This is a conversation no parent wants to have… or likely even think about. It can be a tough conversation to begin and may seem like if we don’t talk about it, we might not have to deal with it. As your kids get older, they see drugs and alcohol in movies/tv, music, at school, and maybe even in their social circles. Addiction is very present in our culture today. Begin the conversation with your child to help them understand the dangerous implications these actions can have, establish healthy boundaries, and set expectations.
