Fair Haven Harbor Adults

We were made for dynamic, life-giving relationships with God, other people, and the world around us. Jesus lived into these relationships within his own life. He was regularly found spending time alone with the Father, doing life in a community of people who knew him well, and bringing healing, restoration, justice, and good news to the people and crowds he encountered.

Here at Harbor Churches, we want to help you take steps to deepen each of these relationships in your own life. To do this, we create communities of belonging centered on Jesus where you can be formed and sent to be good news.

Adult Adventure Group
Monthly Adventures
If you’re an adult of any age (post college single or couple) looking for some adventure and an opportunity to build relationships while enjoying the outdoors, join the new Adult Adventure Group! Each month, a new adventure awaits where we’ll be active, have fun together, and build meaningful friendships! Depending on the adventure, there may be a cost; however, scholarships are available if needed. Those who register will be added to our Adult Adventure Group in the Church Center app where they can view upcoming events and messages for the group. Register here.

Breaking Bread Groups
Breaking Bread is an opportunity to connect with others. Our hope is that it helps you get to know each other more personally while chatting over a meal or coffee! Here’s how it works: Individuals and families who are attending Fair Haven Church (in person or online) sign up to connect three times over three months. Each group will have a volunteer point person who will help coordinate and communicate. We encourage each group to rotate the responsibility of “hosting” once a month. You can choose to open up your home, enjoy beverages over a zoom call, or meet at a local park or restaurant.  After three months, there will be a new opportunity to sign up and groups will get shuffled and reassigned. We believe relationships are important and that life is so much richer when we do it WITH each other. Join us! Sign up during the months of January, May, and September. Sign up here.

Women’s Ministry at Fair Haven is a safe place for all women to be in a community that’s centered on Jesus (BElong). We are committed to authenticity and vulnerability (BE known), and we hunger for encouragement to grow in our faith and live on mission (BE challenged).

Anchor Groups are small group Bible study opportunities that create communities of belonging centered on Jesus. Utilizing the Sermon Series Bible Study, groups will discuss the message from Sunday, reflect on questions, and form meaningful relationships. Small groups will run 6 consecutive weeks. The leaders of each group will contact you about the day, time, and location. Anchor groups will begin the week of September 18. Sign up here.

Men’s Bible Study | Wednesdays, beginning September 14 | 6:30-8pm
Men of all ages are welcome and encouraged to engage in studying and applying the book of Galatians together on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm (enter door J). We’ll start with large group teaching, and then break into small groups to form deeper community through sharing, reflection questions, and prayer. Register here.

Harbor Singles | begins Thursday, September 22, and then 1st/3rd Thursdays | 6:30-8pm
Harbor Singles is a community of single adults 35+ who are seeking to grow in Christ, build authentic friendships and serve others. We hope you will join us as we meet every other week this fall through December 15. We will explore Max Lucado’s study, Jesus: The God Who Knows Your Name. Lucado says, “For thirty-three years Jesus felt everything you and I have ever felt. To think of Jesus in such a light seems almost irreverent, doesn’t it? It is much easier to keep the humanity out of the incarnation… keeping Jesus divine keeps him distant, packaged, predictable. But it’s only when we let him into the muck and mire of our world that he can pull us out. In becoming human, Jesus made it possible for us to see God.” Join us as we study the words and life of Jesus together!
